PMBC cleanup is Saturday the 23rd;
Short notice but we will need to clean up Triangle Park [again] for weeds (should be a breeze this time as they will not be deep rooted and lot is fairly clean) I will bring bolt cutters for the abandoned bicycle (police gave OK to remove).
Note to all; I am in contact with the VP of Sales at EP Henry and they are at least mildly interested. I hope to have more information on Saturday
Notice to BV
Philadelphia More Beautiful Committee (PMBC) has a summer cleanup scheduled for this Saturday, August 23, 2008 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Furthermore, BVTW has also arranged with for an additional Fall cleanup (after the leaves are off the trees) in order to keep our neighborhood clean through the winter months.
BVTW is also working with PMBC to update the Block Captain list. We are actively recruiting block captains for Bella Vista. Block Captain responsibilities include working with the neighbors, on your street/block, to make sure everyone is aware of each scheduled cleanup, to insure that you have the necessary supplies & equipment and to arrange for special projects.

Due to my mismanagement, the event was kind of a no show. I spoke with Stuart (owner) and he has a crew going out next week so one way or the other, it’ll be clean.
I’ll do better with the fall cleanup; I will be talking with EP Henry this week! Wish me luck!

I went down this morning. I pulled weeds for about an hour. I left my bag
there...not sure if folks were showing up later so I left it there.
I like the ground cover that is growing...feels real green!!!
