VOTE! for your favorite park name

To review why we have a need for a naming vote:

In response to learning that a "Triangle Park" exists where Moyamensing intersects 2nd Street @ Christian, we are considering a new name for the park slated to be at Passyunk & Christian & 6th & Queen. The Triangle Park in Queen Village/Southwark area is not listed with the park alliance, but is a green space and it does have a friends group. We have collected the name ideas and comments from members of the Google Group discussion board and created a form for voting.

As a side note, I did remove a few that I thought were most likely sarcastic. I also took out Passyunk Park (already exists in the 8th district @ 7000 Passyunk Ave) and South Park (besides the cartoon, there is a S. Park Street, and a Parking Lot called South Park both in S. Philly).

 

Let's all try to vote by Friday 8/29. I will also be sending this to hose that signed up for the Friends of Triangle Park website mailing list, so I am sorry if you receive the email twice.
