[5ttt] Error setting up friend

Hey

Me and my buddy have tried setting up our Tonika servers. However we
cant see eachothers Tonika homepages.

Both of us gets the "Could not fetch data from Tonika." message when
we try to access one anothers homepage. We've both started out Tonika
server correctly, even with the --addr option and we've both opened
the ports correctly. We're both 3rd year computer science majors so we
should be able to complete those tasks correctly. We've added
eachother and we both have "Contact established." status for
eachother. What could it be?

Yes, there is an unintended feature (bug, I suppose you can call it)
in this build. Once two computer are talking to each other, it takes
4min before they can address each other by URL. So perhaps
wait a while and try.

Also, to make sure that your computers are talking to each other.
Look at the "Monitor" page, and make sure you see connections
whose state is "ready".

thats the part of my monitor status about connections. Nothing there.
But to be safe, it is his ID listed.

Got any ideas?

This means that you haven't connected to him yet. "connecting" means
trying to open a TCP connection but no response.

Maybe your firewall is not working right? Also note that connection attempts
use exponential back off. 1sec, 2sec, 4sec, etc. up to 1min (I think)
