i tried building tonika and got the message 'gmake: command not
found'. I edited the all.bash and replaced gmake with make and it
works fine.

Hi,

The reason was:

make and gmake work on OS X, but only gmake works on FreeBSD.

I suppose you are running Linux?

I'll try to find a way of automating this in the scripts.

Thanks,

I make a symlink between make and gmake:

apardo@debaser:~$ ls -l /usr/bin/gmake
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 2010-06-07 07:16 /usr/bin/gmake -> make

I'm working with Ubuntu 10.4.

Ciao
