Keyboard hooks - Ho to disable it?

Hi,
I usually work with a wireless keyboard device to control my SDR rig.
It has a host application that runs some kind of keyboard hooks. It seems also 5M-Contest do the same, but it doesn't permit the keyup/keydown event to reach the target application (like mine).
I am wondering if the hooks feature on 5M-Contest can be disabled or if there is a way it still runs without deleting the keyup/keydown events for other applications.
