First of all we are very sorry for the shorter notice and not including all the contacts in the mailing list. We will see these kind of mistakes should not be continued in future. Sriram, thanks a lot for updating the contacts you are having with you.

Regarding the date and venue, we are of the opinion that we shall continue with the same venue as proposed and reduce the duration to one day that is one Sunday 23rd March'2014. This may be more convenient to all the batch mates. It may be very difficult not to change the venue and dates. The issue may get diluted. Therefore other suggestions regarding the venue and others we shall discuss in detail together in the meet after considering every ones opinion. There even some other ideas such as forming an association, creating various groups etc which we shall discuss during the meet in the presence of all our members.

Request from our side to all the members of 5lacs batch to consider this as one of the major celebrations in our family. Treat 5 lacs batch as a single family. Threat this as our own events and promote the event. Kindly make it convenient yourself to participate in the event. It is every ones responsibility in gathering all the 5 lacs batch mates to a single place.

First of all Ram's suggestion is very nice, we have to appreciate for coming forward with such a nice proposal. 

But here we need to consider a major constraint as discussed by Mr.Vamshi, It's a known fact that all the friends whether in employment or in practise as and when March strikes automatically people will become busy until the audits were over. And some times we may require to stay back in the office long hours.

This will create a room where finalizing the convenient date for all our friends will be little bit tough once March came to an end.

So, I feel this time we forward according to the proposed plan and we conclude the venue in this meet for the next meet which would be like a LTA for all of us just a refreshment and by the next year we are expecting most of us will got married. Where we can plan with our families if everybody prefers, so the community will be strengthen.

However, the dates are fixed after considering the busy schedule of all our friends. Regarding the venue, no one has brought to our notice earlier. We are talking about this venue since from a longer time. We have announced the venue even in our earlier meet. We have invited few friends for the discussion also however no one has turned up. This has given us a very short scope to go for the other alternatives as mentioned in your mail. Further, the venue was selected after taking into all the things into consideration such as convenience, transportation, food, ambiance and hospitality etc.

The only purpose of the meet is all the 5 lacs batch mates has to participate in the meet and share each other the happiness and other achievements during the course of time. This will certainly gives us some positive energy and happiness and also helps us in forming a stroger association in future. This kind of trend to be continued in further years just like how the IIM / IIT meet together in Allumini meet every year. So we do not have any problem in changing the proposed dates and the venue if the majority of them are of the same opinion.

Even though it is just a year passed but it seems to be like many years and it is really a very nice platform as mentioned by you to share the experience of one self.

With positive outlook consider my suggestions about get together of our 5 Lacs batch friends. 

1. Got the update from many of our friends about the place and also from my side to choose most exciting and wonderful place like Goa, Kanya kumari, Oaty, Kodaikanal, Coorg, Alleppey, Andaman, Darjeeling, Gangtok etc.
2. Contribution of Rs.4,000 is also another point to think because rather spending Rs.4,000 in Hyderabad spending 6,000 -7,000 in some other tourist place will give greater happiness to all of us and it will be like vacation for 2-3 days.
3. Circulation of Invitation at least before one month will give enough flexibility to plan and make the event more successful. ( Eg:  I have planned a month before to go to Shirdi on 21st till 24th March :) )

I am very happy to hear the arrangements for the get together but my point of concern is every year the meet should be valuable and take the momentum continue until we are alive.

Let the 5 lacs batch rock forever with lots of happiness and memories as years pass on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

              However, we missed out that date in this year because of busy schedule of every one. Now again this trio taking initiative to conduct 5 lakh batch meet, we should appreciate for that. So my sincere request to all is participate in this get together and make this event also most memorable one. I know many of us is not comfortable with the date and place as decided because of short notice. So Friends Please decide one day and fix the place as early as possible. and make this event as memorable one.

             But My Sincere request is next year onwards don't change the date make that day (First Weekend of February)  as our 5 Lakh Batch Meet Day and plan the get together by selecting one place basing on suggestions from our friends in that year and  the date should be fixed and place we will decide at that get together.

I also request the friend who are in loop add the friends who are missed in the loop know to you. I also requested the team who organising the event  and the friends in loop to call personally to others to aware of the event and request to contribute their opinions and presence to event.
