Hello everyone,

I am currently working on a project involving 5G NR network slicing in ns-3 and would like to know whether network slicing is natively supported in the latest versions of ns-3 (e.g., ns-3.47 with the 5G-LENA NR module).

Specifically, I would like to know:

• Is network slicing implemented as part of the NR module, or does it require external extensions?
• Are there any example scripts or tutorials demonstrating network slicing (eMBB, URLLC, mMTC, etc.)?
• If native support is not available, what is the recommended approach for implementing and evaluating network slicing in ns-3?

I would appreciate any guidance, relevant documentation, or references to existing implementations.

Hi, it is currently not supported. What you can do to evaluate slicing without having it fully implemented will depend a lot on the end goal. Most likely will need scheduler changes, so I'd go in that direction.
