Load balancing in 5G

Hello, my name is Ivan and I am working on a simulation scenario based on a 5G network with several slices dedicated to different technologies.

I have tried to apply load balancing using methods of the Rrc() class to be able to obtain which of the gNb's is less loaded and thus be able to reassign the ue nodes to one of the base stations with less traffic load.

Is it possible to implement this?

I have read that Handover does not work in the NR module and therefore, I will not be able to reassign the connections once the loads have been evaluated.
