Developing a forwarding mechanism

Good day everyone

I’m currently working on a simple scenario based on "cttc-3gpp-channel-simple-ran" that suppose to implement UE to UE communication. To give you an idea, here is the network topology I’m working on

[UE1] ----(uplink)---- > [gNB] ----(Downlink)------ > [UE2]

[EPC]

[INTERNET]

The problem I’m stuck at is on how to develop a forwarding mechanism, so data from UE1 can forward the data packets to UE2.
