5G-LENA Execution time

Hello! is there any way to use 5G-LENA MODULE using NS3 for "REAL TIME" Scenarios? I am not getting why always the simulation execution time is always greater than the simulation duration set by the user.

For example for a simulation  duration of 1 second the simulation takes around 2-3 seconds to be done.

Hi,

yes, depending on the scenario complexity, number of devices and antennas it can happen that the simulation execution time is much larger than the configured simulation time, and this is mainly due to very complex 3GPP channel model. We hope that during this year, there will be some contributions to ns-3 related to this optimization. Until then, I think it will not be possible to use it in real-time for more complex scenarios.
