Closed Test 0.8.32 is the largest feature expansion so far, introducing the new Treasure Generator and the systems that support it.
The Treasure Generator now includes three generation approaches:
• Sourcebook Treasure follows the official 2014 treasure-table structure.
• Guided Treasure lets you control value, item count, rarity, categories, coins, and party suitability.
• Custom Treasure gives you direct control over the contents of a treasure result.
Treasure generation now supports:
• Individual and hoard-style results
• Coins and consolidated currency totals
• Value-budget generation
• Item-count targets
• Rarity and category filtering
• Magic-tier limits
• Party class and level filtering
• Level-appropriate and party-only options
• Generic fallback results when strict party filters cannot completely fill a result
• Concrete spell scrolls containing actual spells instead of generic “spell scroll” entries
• Scroll usability information for the active party
• Saved treasure results
• Editing treasure quantities and contents
• Deterministic dice-style generation with replayable roll information
The Catalog has also been expanded into searchable Items, Spells, and Services sections. This supports faster rules lookup and allows content to be selected directly for shops and treasure.
Campaign Party Profiles now act as campaign save spaces. Each profile can retain its own party roster, levels, filters, saved shops, treasure, custom content, and inventory state.
Additional supporting features include:
• Custom items and custom spells
• Custom content that can be campaign-specific or shared across profiles
• Custom item Source and Notes fields
• Separate DM-Gated and DM-Only custom item controls
• Custom content eligibility for shops and treasure
• Promotion of one-off generated shop items into the reusable custom library
• Shared shop identities across campaigns
• Optional shared or campaign-specific shop inventory
• Fixed and Living inventory behavior
• Party-aware shop inventory controls
• Current-party scroll reassessment without changing the generated scroll itself
• Improved item-source and catalog provenance data
Please focus testing on:
• Generating treasure in all three modes
• Saving, reopening, editing, and deleting treasure
• Switching between Party Profiles
• Party and level filters
• Concrete spell-scroll results
• Coin totals and value targets
• Custom items and spells
• Shared versus campaign-specific content
• Shop inventory behavior after switching profiles
Please report any crashes, missing results, incorrect totals, profile data appearing in the wrong campaign, scrolls changing unexpectedly, or saved treasure failing to restore correctly.
Thank you for continuing to test and help stabilize the 5e Shop Generator.
