William Stein
One possible "easy" project for the integer factoring part of this
course would be type up these awesome notes of Hendrik Lenstra's on
factoring using elliptic curves.

Hendrik, A number of years ago you sent me some very nice notes from a
course that you gave (possibly in 1987 approximately) called something
like "Elliptic Curves and Factorization Algorithms" with the scribe
being Juriaan van der Lingen. I somehow have misplaced my copy. Is
