TITLE: Computing Hecke operators using a quaternion algebra over
Q(sqrt(5)) in the simplest possible case

ABSTRACT:

In this expository talk, I will describe the simplest case of
Dembele's algorithm for computing Hecke operators over Q(sqrt(5)).
I will state without any proof a few difficult facts that this
algorithm relies on, and explain in detail how to explicitly compute
with it in practice, then outline some future plans.
