Then join the DPR Aquatics team as a Lifeguard or
Pool Operator.
DPR outdoor aquatic facilities are set to reopen for Summer 2021 and we need fun, talented people to operate our pools and spray pads.
No prior experience necessary. We will provide you with all the training needed free of charge.Interested in joining us? The below information will set you up for success.
1. Be over the age of 16.
2. Take the free DPR lifeguard training course and become certified! All applicants must pass the course before they are considered for employment, so jump on that first.
3. Head to Careers.DC.Gov and search for "Aquatics" to find the Lifeguard and Pool Operator applications.
4. Pass the suitability screening and background check.
5. Grab a swimsuit! You're ready to go!Already certified? Click the button below and search "Aquatics" to start your application.
