Subject: About Holding of Titan Shares - Common Folio Number TWC00192
To: Corporate Communications <
corp...@titan.co.in>
Dear Sir,
1. With due respect I would like to submit the following few lines for your consideration.
2. I had purchased 14 shares of Titan at par, way back in the 80s. Sometime later bonus shares were issued in the ratio 1:1, taking my holding to 28. Then the company devalued the face price of the shares from Rs 10 to Rs 1 per share. This took my share holding to 280, which is what I hold as on date. I am attaching a copy of one of the certificates for your reference.
3. My career with the Army took me from place to place and after leaving the Army I went abroad. Somewhere down the line the share holding, not only Titan, but many others, was lost sight of. Much later, sometime in 2017, I got hold of my luggage and it was then that the share certificates made a re-appearance.
4. Since then I have been in regular correspondence with Titan. I have fulfilled all the formalities of change of signatures, change of residence etc. I have also filed IEPF-5 for release of dividends, and have started receiving the dividends from Jan '21. What is still eluding me is the IEPF-5 for release of shares in Demat format for trading purposes. Try as I might, I have not been able to upload the IEPF-5. Just a few days ago I received an email that the IEPF-5 I had filed in 2019 has been rejected.
5. I am at my wits end. With so much money involved, I have to find a solution to this problem, for which I seek your help. Since I live in Chandigarh, it is quite easy for me to visit your office in Nehru Place, New Delhi. I shall really appreciate it if I could get an appointment with the concerned officials, at their convenience.
Looking forward to a positive response and thanking you for it.
Sincerely,
