I will forever be grateful to users of Change.org! You helped reunite me with my daughter.
I am a doctor and a single mother who is also 90% disabled. I was posted 100 km away from my daughter in a government hospital.
90,000 people signed my petition asking the Maharashtra CM to transfer me back to Pune where I could be with my daughter.
Yesterday, Maharashtra's Chief Minister tweeted at me to let me know he has seen my petition. He assured me that I will be transferred back.
My 11-year-old daughter was so overjoyed that she cried over the phone. Here is a message from her-
“Now my mom can work close to me and can help me with my homework as well. I can’t wait to cuddle next to my mom every night as I fall asleep. Thank you!”
Rakesh, I’m an ordinary person. It is entirely because of people like you that I was able make the Maharashtra CM listen to me.
