Upon roster review, it appears there are four classmates that we have lost contact with. They are:
       Roy Dunaway
       Jerry Gilpin
       Myron Minich
       Jerry Tebben
If you have any information that would help reestablish contact, please send me the details.

Thanks

Could you send me the addresses that you have for them now?  i think I have located Mr Dunaway in Atlanta.  I found his wife's obituary when she died. They lived in Gainesville.
This one is in Atlanta.  I will be happy to see what I can find on these men.

Mr Howard,
Here are some addresses that I found for the men you sent.  I thought if you called them it would be more official. Let me know if these are correct or not. I can do some deeper searches.  If the  men's addresses are incorrect, maybe  we can find one of their children who  they are probably living with or they know where they are.
Thank you,
Kitty Millard

Kitty,
That was simply outstanding! You could replace Paul Drake! Think how much better Perry would be with you leading him.
Black and white TV would never be the same. (G)

Kitty,  When I was young, on the radio was a program called "Mr. Keene, Tracer of Lost Persons".  We need to change that title to "Miss Kitty, Finder of Lost Cadets".  Thanks from all of us.
Best wishes,
Bob

I do remember the name of the show but I don't quite remember how it went. I will have to do some research!

This is true.  I am the son of Ted Thompson @55 and my Dad introduced me to computers with a keypunch machine and card deck back in the late 60's.  As a result, I ended up with a 35 year career in IT at Boeing.  These days in retirement, I find myself producing a technical YouTube channel.  It never ceases to amaze me in regards to all of the software tools that help with communication.

It’s impossible to realize the technological advancements that have been made since we graduated, but what is REALLY scary is to envision what changes are in store in the next ten years.

Bill,  Only the Class Optimist would worry about the next ten years!  Us pessimists worry about the next ten months.
Best wishes, anyway,
Bob

It is worth stating, that as a son of a USMA Grad, I have the utmost respect for each and every one of you.  My father (Ted Thompson 55) passed in 1987 and not a day goes by when I do not realize the wealth of knowledge I would have gained had he lived into his 90's.  Age is just a number, but with age comes wisdom we cannot be blessed with if it were not for a long life.

I remember in 1972 as a teen going to a Christmas party in St Louis with my parents to General Henry Aurand's home.  General Aurand had a model train layout in his basement that was a reproduction of the multiple parts of the WWII theatre.  He patiently explained the history to myself and his grand kids.  At the end of the night, he autographed one of his uniform pictures to me, "To Scott, one of the most inquiring young minds I have have met".  It is experiences like this that I treasure even more so at age 66.

I’m the daughter and granddaughter of West Pointers (Bill “Luke” Lucas ‘55 and William C Lucas ‘23).  I’m so proud of their being West Pointers!!  My dad has felt a camaraderie with his classmates and a love for West Point all these years.  We are blessed to still have him with us at 92.  His dad also loved West Point.
This past Tuesday my late grandfather, who fought in the Pacific during World War II, made the news. These West Point men are really something!! Enjoy!

Katie,  Thanks so much for passing on that story of your grandfather and his captured machine gun.  Say hello to your Dad from me.
