West Point classes have been adopting mottos for 50 or more years, the latest being 2024's
which can be seen on their class flag, during their 8 mile march back from Buckner last week.

'55 has never had an official motto (to my knowledge), although Bill Welter unilaterally pushed
"The Last of the Great Classes" when he was Class ISO.

I never liked  "The Last of the Great Classes" because I thought it demeaned later classes, but
I've wished that we had retroactively come up with an appropriate motto for '55.

One that would be currently appropriate is "55 Is Still Alive"  :)   :)   :)

Anyone have any good ideas for an appropriate, retroactive, descriptive motto for '55 that EXCOM
might adopt ?

All thoughts welcomed/appreciated, pro and con.

Here's a link to some class crests going back to 1945, which contain class mottos,
beginning in 1970.
