Dear Homebrew Clubs,

Please see the attached flyer.  Please distribute them where they will be seen by your club members.

Also as an added incentive to participate in the Rocky Mountain Homebrew Club Challenge we are announcing what the clubs will be competing for.  We have decided that Foam on the Range homebrew club will purchase a brand new Firkin (English style) Keg with all the needed attachments to use.  We will have a plaque mounted to it with the name of the competition and that Foam on the Range is the organizer of the competition.  The club that earns the most club points will get an engraved plaque with its name and the year won that will be mounted on the Firkin as well.  Each year we will add a new winner's name to the Firkin.  The winning club will then get to be the Keeper of the Firkin and has the opportunity to use it until the next Rocky Mountain Homebrew Club Competition is held.

We feel this will be an exciting prize as not only will it be a symbol of who the Best Rocky  Mountain Homebrew Club is, but it can be used for club parties and get togethers for the year they won it.  It can be reused many times for all sorts of style (No Sours Please and must be kept clean so we can have it for many years of use) and can be bragged about to your friends who are pouring a beer from it.

I have attached some pictures of  Firkins for you to see.

We are very excited about how many clubs have already responded that are going to take part and look forward to even more clubs letting us know soon.

The sign up and info web site is http://fotr.brewcompetition.com/

Merry Christmas and Cheers to all
