Xtelligent.io is a publicly-funded venture improving the livability and sustainability of cities.

As part of our public benefit mission, we display transit (and other multi-modal) information traffic flow in our application to support public transportation/transit authorities. We are requesting to upgrade our rate limit. Currently, we are set to use the default (60 requests for 3600 seconds). We ask that our rate be increased to 720 requests per 3600 seconds or even one request per second.

I would suggest looking at the many prior threads on rate limits. The 511 API isn’t intended to serve as your app’s backend. You should implement your own backend and cache 511 data within the existing API limits.
