Dangerous Stony Brook Railroad open crossing and cut through for Stony Brook University students

I am the grandmother of precious cargo living at 17 Bayles Avenue, in StonyBrook.

To my concern, I was present when several Stony Brook University students used this dead end location as a walking cut thru from 25A to the University. Though convenient, very dangerous. This occurrence of traffic has made my grandchildren curious and to what is up on the hill where the train passes.

I believe a privacy wall is needed to correct this situation and I would appreciate your immediate attention as to what steps are necessary to implement this wall to prevent future entry before tragedy.
