Hi Cynthia,

Sounds like such a fun time! I have a lot of good memories racing up at Kits with the fleet and staying at Chateau C&C. It's always fun to go for a rip in the sunshine with a spectacular view of the mountains and city. I had really hoped to be able to make it up there this year, but I have plans with my family on the 4th of July weekend that I can't cancel. I'm sorry I have to miss it!

I am looking forward to seeing a lot of you at the Gorge in a month, and at PCYC in two!

Further to Rich’s note, please consider coming to the Kits Invitational regatta on July 6 & 7 (only three weeks away).   It would be great to have the fleet up again for a good showing.  Kits Invite is KYC’s premier regatta every summer and this year the 505 national association designated the event as our Canadian Champs.   

The NOR and more information and registration is at the link below.  Note that the entry fee includes two dinner tickets - and the Saturday night dinner social is always a fun event.

First race is Saturday July 6 at 11:30am so that gives plenty of time for most of you to come up in the morning of the event.   But for those of you wanting to come earlier, consider coming in time for Thursday night racing and/or on Friday afternoon we can have a fun distance race to the Point Grey Bell Bouy back followed by BBQ at the club.   

Please come and sail with us.  Let me know so we can plan for the event and some early sailing too!
