2025 Alameda Events

Hey Fleets!

It’s that time of year when we need to start locking down dates for years schedule. 

On that note I wanted to check in with the fleet and let you guys know that we are thinking of hosting two events at the Alameda Community Sailing Center this next year.

Since St. Francis is no longer doing the spring dinghy regatta we were thinking of hosting a replacement event at ACSC. It would be 505’s, Lasers and I 420’s. The laser fleet has already expressed interest in the event. We were thinking the weekend of March 22nd and 23rd.

Let me know if there is interest and we will get the ball rolling. 

We were also thinking of an end of summer regatta at ACSC a couple weeks or so before the Santa Cruz event that way the guys from up north could come down and possibly find temporary storage for their boats between events so that both events will be well attended. 

Would love to get both the Southern Canada and the California fleets schedules on the same page so that there is no overlap and the possibility to have increased attendance. Just a thought. 😁
