Last week 12 teams came down to Long Beach for the Manning Regatta.  Many came early to train.  Doug/Nalu and Mike P./Don arrived on Monday.  Rob/Arron on Wednesday.  Eric/Nic and Andres/Luke on Thursday.  On Friday Holty/Bruce, Mike/Adam and Jackson/Nick showed up.  I got to train with Matt Merchant, Nick Kofski and Brendan Heusller.  

We typically did 5 races each day and everyone had their moments except Eric/Nic who were absolutely dominate the 2 days they sailed, unfortunately Nic had to go back to SF for the weekend.  

We had great de-briefs after training each day with everyone sharing as much as possible.

The regatta came, and unlike the last 2 years when it blew 25 knots, there was hot beautiful weather but absolutely no wind on Saturday.  So everyone came to our house for an early dinner and nice evening.

Sunday was light air with 5 knots building to 10 knots.  The ABYC RC pulled off 3 races to make it a regatta.  Here is a link to the results.

Hope to see you all in Long Beach for our 3 day regatta on September 25, 26, 27.  Come early for more good training.
