Here is the link to sign up for the SBYC 505 Event.

• Register
• Entrants

Please register if you plan to attend so we can plan accordingly and help drive participation.

Tentative plan (details to follow):

• Start sailing at 1:00 PM Saturday / TBD Sunday
• Run gate starts and races
• Post-race debrief

The onshore staging area will be near the launch ramp at the eastern end of Santa Barbara Harbor.

Hi Friends,

We’ve got a moderate but mighty group lined up to sail in Santa Barbara this weekend—please be sure to sign up if you’re planning to join: Register

So far this week the wind at the harbor has exceeded the forecast each day and we've had nice afternoon breeze.

Saturday Plan

• Dock out: 1:00 PM
• We'll have a RIB and marks
• Run as many starts and races as possible
• Multiple rolling gate starts
• Howie training course

Post-sailing: Debrief + tacos at Bell Manor (my place 🌮)

Parking / Launching

We’ll stage and launch from the public ramp:

• Head toward Santa Barbara Yacht Club
• Turn from Shoreline onto Harbor Way
• Take the first left into the Harbor Lot (through the kiosk)
• Continue to the far end—we’ll have reserved spaces there
