We are working hard to put together a great North Americans coming up
in Annapolis this October. As treasurer of Fleet 40 which will be
hosting the regatta this year, I want to extend an invitation to
everybody to come to Annapolis and enjoy what is going to be an
awesome regatta in an excellent venue.
I also want to request that you register as early as possible. I am
working on organizing catering, shirts, prizes, photographers, and
other things that cost money. The earlier you register and declare
that you will be coming, the easier my job is going to be. So I would
really appreciate it if those of you who are definitely planning on
coming would go ahead and register and pay your entry fee (which we
are trying to hold as low as possible while still providing an
excellent event) now.
Mike Renda has worked hard to put together a website that is
informative and easy to use. We have an online payment system that
makes it easy for you to pay with your credit card in just a few quick
seconds...it's as easy as ordering something from Amazon, Jamestown or
McMaster.
I am also in charge of billeting. I have been working with people in
the local area and my goal is to provide housing for everybody who
will be coming from out of town. Of course, the earlier you let me
know, the more likely it is that I will be able to find housing for
you. So if you haven't done so already, do please let me know if you
are planning to come and will be needing a place to stay.
