VX One NAs - Need crew to replace me

I'm posting this in the hope a crew in the 200 lb region is available September 23-26 to take my spot at the VX One North Americans to help out a great sailor (John Porter - ex Finn Olympic campaigner) with a quest to win the NAs (which he has a legitimate chance of doing).

I was planning to be his crew but my 22-month old daughter was just diagnosed with Leukemia.  She begins chemotherapy today and the first month is going to be spent almost entirely in the hospital with her.  It goes without saying that I am out of sailing for six months or more.

Even if you can't crew if you think you know someone who can please either reach out to me or John directly.  I hate leaving him scrambling.  He's great to sail with.  Help me find him a rockstar.
