Hey Region 1,
Please read below and comment.  My vote would be for West River over Pensacola, but I’m just one opinion.  Speak up please?
Thanks,
Duane

I think it's hard to get good numbers when it is at a venue with no local or nearby fleet.

I would support West River in October. Boats that ship to the UK Worlds would be back by then. Maybe we could even ship the West coast box back via West River?

Duane and Craig,

Tim Murphy emailed me and gently suggested that the class is looking for bids for the 2026 NAs. He wants the bid presented at the Kingston NA's. He noted that the worlds will be in Long Beach in 2027. His mind seemed open on the question of whether the 2026 NAs should be on the east or west coast.

Here are two thoughts. First, Pensacola, FLA. in the spring. It has a motivated locate race management team. No local fleet. Ethan is a proponent of that idea. Second, West River in the spring or in October. I used to lobby against the Bay because it's not Long Beach. But I am beginning to think WR might work. Plus, we could use it as an East Coast recruiting tool, especially if we run it in October.

Please let me know what you think. Is there, for example, an option in NE?
