All,
If you have any interest at all in racing the Hayling Island Worlds, please read the below from International 505 Class President Michael Quirk. He is cc’d on this email.
I know several Canadian and US East Coast teams are looking for charters, but I think many teams are, and I don’t know if Ian Mitchell et al in the UK can come up with enough ready-to-race 505s to satisfy the demand.
“ *World Championship in Hayling Island UK* .
The Class, international and national, with expected cash sponsor support, will underwrite empty container spots. This means the cost for each boat is a known factor that won't change if the container isn't full.
Can I get a show of digital hands who would consider going if the container cost is manageable. Hayling has great sailing and great club facilities.
Answer here, or DM me.”
