It sounds like McMaster-Carr is the best place to source UHMW tape for centre-boards.

Does anyone know what is the correct tape to order?  For example, 3" looks to be the correct width but the thickness is something I am unsure about.    All three of my boards are Waterat, as well as the boat.

Here is the link to their tape inventory:

Hope you can help.

McMaster sells UHMW tape in one section and UHMW strips in another. Tape is thinner and strips are thicker.

The thickness listed in the tape section includes the paper backing. The .010” (.012) or .020” (.022) work in most situations. 2” is the appropriate width. The thicker tape is more durable, but if your board is tight it may not work - that .010” is significant. Thicker tape than the .020 or strips can be used for a thin board, but it may need to be cut to conform well over the jibe point.

The part number is 76445A504 for 15 ft. and you get to choose the thickness. 15 ft will do about 9 boards, so everyone doesn't need their own roll.
