Ebbe, you don't know me except I am Bill Parker's youngest (not so young now actually), anyway, Bill is still going strong at 73 and this year will sail in a 505 again number 5187.

It has been fully restored as new take a look at http://www.parker505.com, you may recognize him.

This boat was found in a barn, we believe did only one season, built either in 72 or 73, note the deck is the same as when built with the original varnish.

Anyway Bill and Bruce (my brother) and I have fully restored her, with a new M2 - (full rig) and Sails from Bruce Edwards via Mike Holt in the USA (9007) originals from the SF worlds in 2009.

She will be hitting the water in Long Island sounds next season, where I will be sailing her with my kids and in competitive events.

The boat looks like its in great shape! Well done.

You will find that it is VERY hard to pull a modern spinnaker through that size of launcher tube. I had a 6000 series Rondar with a similar size tube and it was very difficult to hoist.
