We could do a trip to the US for the 100 year Jamboree.
Or wait and do Japan dor the world Jamboree.
Also we could do a joint sleep over with a groop form to or montreal.
juist a thought

The trip to the US might be interesting, but logistics would be
difficult no? This would be more Scouts than anything else.

We are talking about a trip by train to Montreal for the Cubs, and
hooking up with a group in Montreal. If not this year, next year for
sure.

As for Japan, I will be going with my two kids for sure. The site for
the 2015 World Scout Jamboree is http://www.23wsj.jp/, the
announcement that Japan won can be found here:

What about Beavers, have they ever done trips like this? I kind of
remember a number of years back that the Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts
each had a Jamboree on separate years at Fitzroy Harbour, it was open
to Voyageur Council.

What about taking the Sr cubs and Scouts to the US it is not that
hard, a tour permit is 1 month ahead, our hurtal will be getting
passports for all. We could take the train to Montreal and have a
sleep over and do the bio dome, or over night at the space center or
ROM in Toronto is doable. Scout level could do a trip to a Inuit town
on Hudson Bay, the fee for a 1 week excursion through educational
company is between 250 and 300 per person flights included. These are
just idea and there are more where they come from, you Duane broke the
dam :) so have fun!

A trip to the US would be difficult for some people as they don't have passports (myself and kids included) A trip anywhere in Canada I would definately love to go on.
