Hi 4tH-ers!

I came across a few interesting links today:

This page offers a recent 4tH compiler - and you can run 4tH programs here. Unfortunately, the libraries are not installed.

4tH and Yun

Yun is some kind of Linux for the Arduino - and 4tH seems to run on it.

Forth benchmarks

I recently ran a whole bunch of benchmarks (to test different GCC optimizations). If you need more inspiration, you might find it on this Forth page. BTW, I'll give you the results of this test.

This page offers a recent 4tH compiler - and you can run 4tH programs here. Unfortunately, the libraries are not installed.

I am too dense to know what it wants me to do next. I don't see it offering a recent 4tH.

Love the idea.

Actually, it's quite easy (see included image):

Enter your source in the "Source window" - just like tour editor;
Add any command line arguments in the "Arguments" window;
Push the "Execute!" button;
Your output appears in the "Output window";
"StdIn window?" opens up an additional window for your interactive programs;
"Language" allows you to select "gForth 0.73" instead of 4tH.

BTW, it is version 3.64.1 (it supports PROTO:).

Additional "gotchas":

Yun was not a software package, but an now sold out Arduino board (no replacements);
Buildroot supports multiple computer and instruction set architectures including x86, ARM, MIPS, PowerPC and RISC-V. Buildroot comes with configurations for several off-the-shelf embedded boards, such as Cubieboard, Raspberry Pi, SheevaPlug, AT91 based Atmel MCUs like SAMA5D3, and Acqua A5 from acmesystems.it.

So, hope this helps you out.
