Hi 4tH-ers!
To prove a point in a c.l.f. discussion, I ported a quadruple precision library from Forth Dimensions to 4tH and ANS-Forth. Yes, we have doubles. We have triples. And now quads.
I added a few words, some to facilitate the creation of specialized quadruple I/O words like "Q." and ">QUAD", so now we got a pretty complete set of words.
I recently discussed this point with another Forther - and we both frankly have no idea why you should need those. I used the triple precision libs once - just to irritate and debunk the Dutch financial institutions - but that's about it.
Quads? No idea. But it works. Code in SVN.

P.S. The online 4tH site still doesn't support libraries.
