Hi all!

4store has been packaged for Debian a while ago, and Debian is going to
freeze rather soon (June has been said, but no fixed date). First of all, I
would like to just let you know, if there are things that would be nice to
have in Debian, a new release should be rolled soon.

The other thing is that I have been superficially involved in a Perl bridge
towards 4store from the module RDF::Trine. If I have understood it
correctly (and I have not looked at the existing API, as I'm not terribly
good at C), what we lack to get full support is a C API exposed for write
operations. At the very least, we need a to be able to add a statement and
remove a given statement by specifying the quad. It would also be nice to
be able to remove statements by using a wildcard for any element in the
quad. Support to remove the store and the data would be nice too.

I've been trying to find time to do it, and talked with some others, but
everyone unsurprisingly busy. So, as a last resort, I figured I'd just ask
here if anyone has any time to do this in very near future?

Cheers,

Kjetil

Thanks for the headsup Kjetil, we should definitely push out a point release before then, there's a lot of improvements in HEAD v's point.

I don't have time to work on the API I'm afraid.

Cheers,
Steve
