hi, @swh, sorry to borther you, I have a project depending on 4store, so I'll be much appreciated if you could help me fix the bug or provide me some hint on how to fix it.

I personally have a simple solution, that is to check the size of rhash before ftruncate() is called, by I'm not sure if this can totally fix the bug, or may cause some other problems.
