Dear friends,

As some of you might recollect, a few months ago - Amit Kunjal had brought the plight of our ex-class mate (Amira) to your notice. Few months have passed since and I'm sad to share that the situation has worsened. In the recent time - the financial stability & overall condition of Amira's family have deteriorated manifolds. As you already know - her father suffered a stroke, her bother met an accident and she lost her job - all around the same time many months ago. As of now: They no longer have their own house to live in, her brother is still undergoing treatment for speech & hearing disability, her father is still not in a condition to join work & she hasn't got a job either.

I would 'again' like to urge each of you to help her in whatever way possible. We're very very fortunate to have far lesser problems to deal with. A minor & temporary cut-back in our luxuries (few dinners & movie tickets?!) can make a great difference to her and her family. Helping someone who's in grave need is far more satisfying than anything that money can buy to us. And, haven't each of us said at least once in our lives "A friend in need a friend indeed!". What better time than this to lead the talk. The final decision is yours, an earnest attempt is all that's required ! one of our friend, amira, is facing financial problems due to the hospitalization of 2 of her relatives. her brother had an accident and her father is also now hospitalized with chest pain and suffered a stroke.
