I'd like to limit my feed summaries to only, say, the first 80
characters or so (using blogspot + feedburner now). Is there an
aggregator that will let me do this? I'm wanting to keep my RSS
messages from splitting into two.

thanks!

I do this now in my CMS. Just limit the number of chars in each field returned. Not sure how otherwise. Sorry.
+1 on the thanks to the 4INFO team. Fun stuff!

Allen is correct. If you're in charge of the character count in the
body, then keep it under 120 characters. If not, try Yahoo Pipes
(http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/) to trim/truncate the text? There are
several video tutorials to help get you started. In a nutshell, your
input will be your original feed, and the output will be another url
resulting from the pipes processing.
