40 character limit on ${queryClean}

Is there an undocumented 40 character limit on ${queryClean}?

I can't find that written anywhere, but everything seems to be
truncated after 40 chars, at least with advanced RSS Feeds.

If so, is there any way to raise this limit? Does the XML Web
Application allow more? I haven't had a chance to test it.

Yes, there is a 40-character limit when using ${queryClean}. However,
${queryString} does NOT have this limit.
