CALLING ALL VIOLINISTS!
We are in need of a violinist for our upcoming production of Young Frankenstein!
The show runs weekends July 27 - August 18. Friday & Saturday evenings at 8PM, Sundays at 2:30PM. You'd also be needed evenings for all of tech week (starting Monday, July 22), and there will be a couple band rehearsals prior to then.

A huge thanks to everyone who came to workday this past weekend -- we are feeling great about how much we have accomplished in only 3 builds. But, of course, we still have a lot to be done!
This Saturday, June 23 at 9AM, we continue work on the set for Young Frankenstein! There will be more construction tasks, but we're also getting to point where there will be painting for folks too. Plus, we always need help with carrying things, cleanup, and various other tasks that anyone can help with!
Additionally: Linda Hogan, our props master for YF, is going to be setting up a crafting area in the Cellar on Saturday to work on a myriad of props. She needs your help! She is planning to have a "props crafting orientation" shortly after 9AM, and then the projects will be divvied out on a first-come, first-served basis. If sitting in the cool basement and working with crafts is more your speed, this will be a fun day for you!
Please email Gary at white...@gmail.com to let us know if you plan to attend so that we have a good headcount for lunch -- and of course let us know if you have any dietary restrictions (aside from vegetarians, for whom we will always have an option). Hope to see you at the theater!

Summer Theater Camp 2018
Come join us for a week of theater arts training. Classes including
improvisation, character development, musical theater, stage movement,
storytelling, dance, and more will be offered daily, along with the songs,
games, and crafts that make all summer camps so much fun! There
will be a showcase on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. for parents, friends, and
family to enjoy! Don’t miss out on this exciting, summer fun-filled
opportunity!

Build a Backstage Campaign:
We are pleased to announce that we have met our $90,000 challenge and received the grant from the Perry Foundation! But the work isn't over...fundraising continues as we march towards our $200,000 preliminary target. The BABS committee has been meeting with a builder to go over design and budget details, and we're very excited about the progress!
