YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN - BUILD #5
Thank you to everyone who came to workday this past weekend! We had a huge turnout and got SO much done. We're feeling great about the progress, but of course there is much more to be done!
This Saturday, June 30 at 9AM, we continue work on the set for Young Frankenstein. This week will be more construction, but we'll also having painting work! And as always, we need help with carrying things, cleanup, and various other small tasks. We will NOT be having a crafting workday this weekend (thanks to everyone who worked on this last Saturday!), just set work.

A note about RSVPs: Lately we have had a lot of unexpected workers on Saturdays. We are so incredibly grateful for the help; please don't get me wrong! While two or three "walk-ins" isn't a problem, having a lot of unexpected volunteers creates a bit of scrambling for those providing lunch. The board members who generously donate the lunches rely on the anticipated head count when planning their meal. To help us make sure that no one goes hungry, please do RSVP.
YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ASSISTANCE / ASSISTANTS!
We are looking for several people to work backstage and/or on tech crew for the run of Young Frankenstein! We are in need of spotlight operators (2), dressers (2 or 3), and stage hands (1).
Time commitment is tech week (evenings, July 22 - July 28), and all performances (July 27, 28, August 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18 in the evening; July 29, August 5, 12 in the afternoon). If you are available for most but not all of those dates, we can potentially still work with that!

Summer Theater Camp 2018
Come join us for a week of theater arts training. Classes including
improvisation, character development, musical theater, stage movement,
storytelling, dance, and more will be offered daily, along with the songs,
games, and crafts that make all summer camps so much fun! There
will be a showcase on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. for parents, friends, and
family to enjoy! Don’t miss out on this exciting, summer fun-filled
opportunity!

Build a Backstage Campaign:
We are pleased to announce that we have met our $90,000 challenge and received the grant from the Perry Foundation! But the work isn't over...fundraising continues as we march towards our $200,000 preliminary target. The BABS committee has been meeting with a builder to go over design and budget details, and we're very excited about the progress!
