The world is full of wonderful things! This recently revived blockbuster Broadway hit—one of the most beloved musicals of all time—comes to Barboursville for the first time ever! Dolly Gallagher-Levi is a widow, a matchmaker, and also a professional meddler—but everything changes when she decides that the next match she needs to make is for herself. Set in New York City at the turn of the century, HELLO, DOLLY! bursts with humor, romance, and some of the greatest songs in musical theater history, including “Before the Parade Passes By,” “Put on Your Sunday Clothes,” and, of course, “Hello, Dolly!” Join us in the spring for this lavish, hilarious, heartwarming love story!

HELLO, DOLLY -- PAINTING PARTY & BUILD #8
We are inching closer and closer to the opening of Hello, Dolly! at Four County Players, and there is much to do! So much, in fact, that there are two opportunities this week to help out!
- Friday, February 22 at 6PM. Painting party! This coming Friday night, we'll be painting the set from top to bottom! Base coats, second coats, detail work, the list goes on! This night will honestly be a lot of fun. We'll have pizza and music! We would love your help, and this is a perfect opportunity for volunteers who can't attend on Saturdays or would like to avoid construction.
- Saturday, February 23 at 10AM (9AM for the early birds). Set Build #8. This coming Saturday, we'll work on more construction -- railings and facing and stair adjustments and more! Plus, there will be more painting depending on what gets accomplished Friday evening.

Board of Directors News
In December, Barbara Wimble informed the Board of Directors that she needed to leave the board before the end of her term in June 2019 for personal reasons. We have appreciated her many contributions both onstage and off over the years and are sad to see her go. Fortunately, Barbara continues to work diligently on projects related to capturing important Four County Players history!
In January, the board voted to appoint Jeff Ward to fill the remainder of Barbara's unexpired term. We are thrilled to have him take on this leadership position.
