Dear alumni,
Some of you could attend the meeting held on May 21, 2011. As per discussion, a
meeting of the alumni will be held on June 4, 2011 in the meeting room of the
Facaulty.
After a long time, we have decided to reactivate our Alumni Association on a
sound footing. We need to really think about what we should do, how can we add
value to the Association and how can we develop a sound Association. Most
importantly, we need to think about what should our scope and engagements in
light of our aspirations. I would request you to send me your expectations and
your thoughts about value addition process before June 1. I will prepare a
short note on your expectations and aspirations for consideration of the June 4
meeting. We hope to constitute a few working committees including organising
committee to reactivate the Association. We should have a gathering of the most
desiring active members on June 4. We have also scheduled a program on July 1 to
celebrate the birthday of the Department of Finance. Let us work together and
think about how we can give back to our Department, in addition to our usual
social gathering.
Please inform your friends and other alumni who you know about our reactivation
process and the July 1 program. Please forward this e-mail to your friends and
other finance graduates. If any one is willing to attend the June 4 meeting
should communicate to me so that we can make necessary arrangements.
Let us all work together to reorganize our Association with long term vision.
