Job Title : Production Support Engineer

Location : Austin, TX 

Duration :Long Term

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Experience with supporting high availability web infrastructure

·         Excellent troubleshooting skills across full-stack including application, database, file transmissions and cloud infrastructure

·         Excellent problem solving and automation skills

·         Work closely and collaboratively with development, quality assurance engineers and support engineers

·         Troubleshoot and fix any infrastructure issues identified internally or in the production deployments

·         Experience with automation performing security updates, daily backups and data loads

·         Monitor applications and infrastructure 24x7

·         Ability to work independently, mentoring and managing IT team

Position Requirements:

·         A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent education and/ or experience

·         Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in software industry

·         Unix/Linux scripting skills – Perl, Python, Bash

·         Experience with AWS, RDS, S3, AWS SDK, MySQL, Linux/Unix scripts

·         Experience with Linux, Windows, Azure, Active Directory

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valued Skills:

·         Experience with supporting transactional and real-time systems

·         Financial services

·         Payment processing
