Position Overview: The Infrastructure Security Engineer will work with various teams of Infrastructure Technology Services and other departments to perform vulnerability assessments, design and deploy endpoint security, proxy settings, monitor and analyze security logs, analyzing security alerts and coordinating patch management, and troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to security. Our client is committed to innovation through the use of contemporary technologies in order to achieve its goals - with an emphasis on infrastructure in the cloud, e.g. AWS, Azure etc.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide infrastructure operational security support for Infrastructure Technology Services
• Perform security analysis and design, develop, and implement security solutions for both on-prem and cloud infrastructures.
• Perform security assessment as requested by various teams within the IT department .
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade systems software and hardware in support of the Infrastructure team’s security services.
• Acts as a subject matter expert and engineering resource for security remediation projects, incident response activities, and forensics information gathering.
• Research, recommend, implement, and support security infrastructure solutions
• Working with all the Infrastructure teams, ensure that comprehensive monitoring (availability, performance, capacity utilization, etc) of all network security environments is in place
• Interface within client organization to gather requirements, collaborate on solutions, and prioritize projects;
. • Ensure that adequate documentation exists and is maintained for all core infrastructure security systems and actively shares knowledge with the team and the broader IT Infrastructure organization
. • Establish and maintain operational processes and procedures that improve efficiencies and performance
. • Perform the daily execution of operational security duties that addresses above mentioned infrastructure security issues, audit readiness, and compliance requirements within defined SLA
Two to Five years of progressive experience in Information Security.
• Technical knowledge of systems security infrastructure, such as IDS, IPS, DLP, proxy servers, tap, and/or logging/SIEM solutions.
• Strong Windows Operating Systems Administration experience.
• Strong consulting skills and ability to work with other teams to find common solutions or coordinate cross-discipline activities.
• Experience with Cloud, SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS. • Proven experience in Infrastructure Security
. • Demonstrated experience with Information Security Incident response processes.
• Familiar with DevOps and/or DevSecOps methodologies. • Ability to automate/script repetative time taking tasks through Bash, Python or equivalent programming languages.
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience in designing networks or systems for high availability, security, manageability, and reliability.
• Knowledge of Tenable Security Center, BlueCoat Proxy, CarbonBlack, Symantec, and Splunk • Security-related certification – CISSP, CTIA, OSCP, GPEN, CEH a plus. • Broad knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies, technology trends
