PUBLIC DESIGN WORKSHOP WITH THE FINALIST TEAMS OCTOBER 10, 2018 6:00-9:00PM The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History Contemporary Artist Gallery 315 E. Warren Avenue Detroit, MI 48202 REGISTER HERE BRING YOUR IDEAS! Help us reimagine Detroit's Arts and Cultural District Join the Detroit Institute of Arts and Midtown Detroit, Inc. as they host the finalist design teams--Agence Ter, Mikyoung Kim Design, and TEN x TEN--for a public design workshop at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History | Community Artist Gallery. The evening will begin with a short presentation to orient the audience for the goals of the evening. This will be an open house format in which each team will design a unique engagement station to solicit feedback from the public. Free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. PARKING: The DIA Parking Lot | Located on John R. St., south of Kirby St. and north of Warren Ave. Daily parking rate is $7. Cash and credit cards are accepted. The Rackham Parking Structure | Located on Warren Ave., east of Woodward Ave. Daily parking rate is $8. Credit cards only. Metered Parking on the street.
