Hi Math 480,

I feel like we've discussed statistics enough in class already, so
tomorrow I'm going to talk about

"Abstract Algebra: Groups, Rings and Fields"

since this is something that Sage is particularly good at. I
definitely won't assume you have taken
a course in abstract algebra. Instead I'll just tell you a little
about what those objects are and show
you some examples of how to compute with them in Sage (which is
something only Magma and Sage
do very well, by the way).
