interacts that have state

Hi,

When working on final projects for 480 students often run into issues
with interacts always updating and being stateless.
I had forgot about that auto_update=False option, etc., which allows
one to get around this in many cases. There is an example here:

which I did not write. I did put a published worksheet with the

Anyway, this could be potentially useful...
