Hey all,

I believe the tentative plan is to meet up online at around 9pm tonight. If anyone has suggestions for a platform to use, please speak up. Otherwise I'll just send out a Google Hangout invitation around 8:45.

Dave is sorting out a shared dropbox folder, and I believe there was mention of making a powerpoint template at some point in the future?
So if you don't have Dropbox, you should definitely sign up.

Everyone: Try to figure out 1-2 interview subjects and/or scenarios that you'll be able to do between now and Sunday evening.
Also, please remember to fill in availability: http://whenisgood.net/j4tg5ap

Phone Numbers:
Vince:     206-719-0482
Jim:        206-947-7853 (alt: 206-588-5808)
Carolyn:  509-654-8084
Dave:      206-617-7166
Josiah:    ??

Depending on what we discuss tonight, we'll probably want to meet up some time this weekend. I suggest Saturday afternoon, but we can hash that out this evening.

I know it sounds amateurish, but Facebook groups have proven to be very effective in the past for group work. It has the tools for sharing links and media, carrying on multiple parallel conversations and works on many devices.

That would actually work really well, and would be a lot more persistent than a hangout.

I've sent friend requests out, although I can't find Dave's FB page.
I'll set up the group as soon as I've got some friends to invite.

Alright, looks like Lucidchart is a pretty good option, with Facebook as a fallback.

It's got a built in chat feature, which will be useful. Sign up and hop in!

Hey all,

I'm sorry I missed everything last night. This is what my weekly schedule looks like.

Inline image 1

I will ALWAYS be slammed on Thursday. Although for the rest of week, I'm good (Unless I have some plan on Friday night).

Anyway, I just went in the Lucidchart. It makes sense to me to so far. Although I'm still not completely sure exactly what we are supposed to do. I know we're supposed to interview some people, but I need some more information. Although that email from Landay, about how we're trying to discover what the tasks they're DOING by interviewing them, explains what contextual interview is very clearly.

Also, I was hoping that I would be able to find transcript of chat or something like that. (Skype, for one instance, remember all of the history of chat which is nice.) So if there is anything I need to know about any kind of discussion from last night, that would be helpful.

Thanks.

Josiah
