The current proposal draft does not go into great detail on the Code of Conduct Committee, and punts a lot to standing rules. Are we okay with that? Is there more that needs to go in the bylaws?

Debate and discuss.

9.1.1 The code of conduct committee should be responsible for investigating reports of violations of the code of conduct adopted by the 43rd District Democrats.  I don't think we should include the WSDCC in this section, it is already adopted elsewhere.

Line 510: Should "Members" be capitalized?

I don't think it is possible to go into much more detail with the time we have left.  If the code of conduct committee feels that bylaws changes are needed going forward I hope we can adopt them as needed.

Have we gotten an ok from the three potential new members that they are ok with signing up for this?

Who may file a code of conduct complaint against a 43rd memeber? Anyone? It seems like that could be misused.

I'm not sure that having 2.7 in the bylaws clearly and unambiguously constitutes "adoption" by the org, hence I included the WSDCC CoC here to remove any doubt.

Agreed, will change.

Any system can be attempted to be abused. Nothing says a report needs to be anything longer than, "this report is nonsense and the reporter is an abusive jerk, see evidence A, B, C, etc. Recommend not action against reportee and censure of the reporter for abusing CoC reporting."
